HELLO! has teamed up with Ocean Outdoor to create a media first in  celebration of the Royal Wedding of Prince William to Catherine Middleton.

From midday on Friday, 29 April, HELLO! will feed through pictures from the wedding day, as and when they happen, to Ocean’s Two Towers digital outdoor displays situated on the A4 Hammersmith flyover in London. The campaign allows HELLO! to capture more than 1.1 million motorists as they drive past the two large format screens flanking one of the main gateways in and out of London.

Photographs will appear through a live data stream throughout the day providing key scenes from the day’s events including the arrival of Prince William and Catherine Middleton at Westminster Abbey, and their return to Buckingham Palace.

Charlotte Stockting, HELLO!’s Publishing Director, said: “I am very excited about HELLO!’s partnership with Ocean Outdoor for such a momentous occasion. HELLO! has been synonymous with Royalty since its first issue 23 years ago making it perfect sense to be the brand to capture and broadcast these exciting moments as they happen.”

Ocean Outdoor’s Marketing Director, Richard Malton, said: “What better way to capture the grandeur and glamour of such a spectacular day through amazing pictures, as it actually happens. This promises to be something of a show stopper.”

The on sale date of HELLO!’s Royal Wedding issue has been brought forward a day to Sunday 1 May, and will be a 268-page issue, significantly more than the usual pagination, having secured the highest number of advertisements in its 23-year history. The print run will be four times bigger than normal, also making it HELLO!’s biggest print run ever.
